Alarm Triggered During Update

Just sort of interesting, but I’m pretty sure the recall update

triggered my alarms last night.

Received an alert that My vehicle security system had detected vehicle tampered and triggered the alarm. Went out to investigate and saw the update was maybe 95% through on the main screen. Unlocked via the app, re-locked but complained about one or more doors being ajar, unlocked, re-locked and no more error. All doors were closed during that time period. Also cannot open the doors during an update even if vehicle says unlocked. Overall NBD but feels like some of the systems can get in odd states while the main one is updating.

So the alarm wakes up you and your neighbors? That’s what happened when I had the same problem occur. Going forward, I’m only doing updates in the evening when I don’t need the car.
