Alexa for the MME?

I keep seeing postings about the Alexa "feature" for the MME. Was this an original feature or was this added during one of the software upgrades? If an upgrade, which one? I just got 3.5.3.3 yesterday. How do you know if you have this feature? I searched this forum but could not find more info on when this feature became available. If it is available, what do you need to do (if you want to use it) to enable it?

You will see a big blue Alex logo at the top of the screen. Touch it an follow the instructions.

I got an update at the dealer and now in my Ford account under subscriptions Alexa Built-in shows "waiting for activation" but no button is available. On SYNC there is no Alexa logo to touch.
Anyone knows how to activate?

I got updates 3.5.4. Had the Alexa icon. Activiated it and it worked for a few days. Now the Icon has disappeared and I can't get it back. If I log into my Alexa account I shows the Mach E device but it claims the mach e is off line. I checked all my connectivity settings. They were on but I turned them off and back on trying to see if that fixed it. It didn't. Did reset and nothing. Haven't done a master reset. I didn't want to have to reset up everything. Any ideas?

Same here. I like this setup (less clutter).

Mine does not show the icon but will not respond to Alexa and I see no way to get it set back up.

Same here. I’ll contact the in Ford vehicle support team today.

Once I activated mine the logo went away but Alexa works by saying..”Alexa”. I took a day to activate with Ford. They also add a Alexa menu option in settings now.

Under "settings" in your vehicle you should see an Amazon Alexa button. Tiouch it to set up.

I did not see that icon. I just checked an it was there. It made me resign in/activate alexa and it is working again. Not sure why I had to do that but all is good now.

Go to settings in your car. Amazon Alexa is the last item in the settings. Tap that then do the setup.

i dont have anymore... i did update by myself by FDRS... in one update i saw the icon of Alexa in main screen... after, other update (again by FDRS, immidiatly after the first) that icon desapeared... i cant see my version (if i open update tab, i can read System is update).
