Amazing dealership experience

With all the bad experiences I've been hearing I thought I'd post my story.

My vehicle arrived at the dealership on Monday and I was immediately called by my salesperson. He wanted to find out when I could come down and pickup my car. Unfortunately Monday didn't work for me as I needed to drive to the airport after work to pickup my sister and her kids. (Dealership is 30 minute drive without traffic, an hour with traffic.) Tuesday wasn't looking good as we planned a birthday dinner for my daughter. Wednesday and Thursday the salesperson was off so it was looking like Friday was going to be the earliest I could get there. When i spoke with him on Tuesday he suggested that they could drop it off and bring the paperwork to me. I was like Hell Yes!! I filled out the credit application online and a little old lady (Barb) drove my car from the dealership and met me at home. All the paperwork was already filled out and we just needed to sign it and give the down-payment. She handed me the keys and drove off in my old dodge dart (sad to see it go). This was all done so quickly and seamlessly that we got it done in time to go out to dinner for my daughter's bday. I took the Ford Option with an amazing 2.7% since that was what it was when I ordered it.

The Ford Store Morgan Hill has got to be one of the best Ford Dealerships around. They were amazing!

Awesome to hear! I should be able to pick mine up on Friday and I've had a great experience with the same dealer so far. Looks like we might be car twins (Premium AWD ER in IBSM - light grey interior?). Looks great in the picture!

So glad you finally got your car! I've heard nothing but great things about that dealership for purchases.

TFSMH is my dealer as well. They're terrific! They never charge ADM on any cars, even canceled special orders on their lot.

Close, I went with the dark interior.

One interesting side note. I received a call last night from the sales manager asking me if there was any issues with my trade in vehicle. I have had very few issues over the past 9 years with it, but apparently they had to tow it back to the dealership after they drove off with it. Not sure what happened on the 30 minute drive back, but it was running great for me.

Congrats on the new MME! I probably should have gone to Morgan Hill or Serramonte for mine but I went to Brentwood for mine since their internet guy is on the forum. I had a good experience with them. Light years better than dealing with Redwood City. ??

I'm a few days out from receiving my car, but Carlos at Morgan Hill has been a pleasure to work with. My original order hasn't even been built yet, but he helped me get a cancelled order from someone else and has been incredibly patient with all my stupid questions.

No ADMs, and they accept X Plan.

Carlos has been great. He took over my deal when Jesus moved on to financing.

Congrats on the delivery and it feels like this is how car buying should be in the future (if you wanted it).

I hope dealerships like this are rewarded more from Ford for operating in this manner since it's so rare honestly.

I am glad you got a good experience with TFSMH. I heard great things about them too and purposely went to them to order my MME. I went in with a positive attitude toward them.

I would give them a C and may change that grade depending if I get my price protection money back from them, in full. I do like that they do not do ADM and honor the X-plan. I gave them bad marks since it took me 3 hours, from when I walked in until I drove out. Yes, I completed the forms ahead of time. I also had to fight to get a clear story on getting the price protection money back. There is a long story here, but I am not going into it. I hope my service with them makes up and I can give them an average of a B grade (C for sales and A for service). The jury is still out.

The Ford Store Morgan Hill is by far the best dealership I've worked with. When I had my Boss 302 I would email the service manager ahead of my appt with the PN of what I was 99% sure needed for the warranty work. He'd order the part on my suggestion and have it ready when the car was serviced. I think I was 3 for 3 doing that.

Anyway, I've bought 2 cars from them now. MSRP wasn't the best possible deal on the first one, but it sure was on the GTPE.

I also had great response with them they explained everything on how the money would come from Ford on the price protection and it came 3 months. In addition, they filled all of the forms for Ca Clean Air Vehicle Decal.

Glad to hear you had such a great experience. I'm hoping mine goes just as well.

Quick question about how you did Ford Options. I thought I saw some threads that indicated that doing the Ford Options online might not get you the rate and bonus from the time of order. Did you have to do anything special to get the 2.7% rate (and I'm assuming bonus cash?)?

I'd love to be able to fill out all the paperwork online instead of waiting in the dealer for print-outs and the like, but I'd also like to get the offers that were in place at the time of order.
