We ordered our MME in May of 2021, it was delivered in January of 2022., so I guess we were lucky. However, during the entire order "waiting" period, Ford did not communicate with us at all, regarding the delays, I contacted the dealer AND Ford corporate, many times, to determine the order status, but got nothing. The website for order management was and is a cruel joke.

I have always thought that Ford's customer service performance was a total failure. I still think it was. However, at least it appears they are now sending some type of communication. To bad it took this long for Ford to correct their lousy order management/customer service, but they still have a long ways to go. They will undoubtedly suffer the long term consequences of outright customer abuse.

I know that I will not forget.

PS: During our order "waiting period" I received dozens of marketing emails, bragging about Ford products, patting me "on the back" for choosing Ford, but never an acknowledgment of the order delay, or reasons why. I consider that type of callus marketing "brand arrogance" and somewhat unforgivable.

I have a "order confirmed" status from Ford on Feb 13th for Premium 4IBS. Still says confirmed. Only email I've received since, is the "Stay Exhilarated" on 3/17. It seems like it takes on average 2 months to get a schedule production date, production date is ~3 months out, 2 months later you may get the MME. (7 months). Should I expect a 2023 model if they are sending Jan order months this?

we visited our dealer on 3/18, and had the same response. Our salesperson changed our order by having a prep kit installed for the rear sensors, which should now put our November 2021 order in the production queue. Onward!
Interesting. So only the parking assit features are compromised?

Literally minutes ago I received this email from Ford and, though it’s been 2.5 months since I’ve received any communication from the Blue Oval company, this is at least something!

I received this also and thought I'd check the pricing. Turns out it is $2000 HIGHER than what my order from the dealer says. Appears to be an increase on the Extended Range battery. You may want to take a look and tell me what you see.

I got the same email regarding the order I placed in October for a 2021 AWD premium. ?

Does anyone know if the price protection for the initial price chance from a 2021 to a 2022 will also cover additional price increases?

I got the same email. Ordered a CA R1 rear drive 12/6/21.

On the bright side, this is the first time any entity higher up the food chain than my dealership has admitted my order exists. When I go to Ford.com, there are still no orders associated with my account. I gather this is perfectly normal since I ordered direct from the dealer.

Also on the bright side, with the upcoming May scheduling, I went to my dealer yesterday to see what my order priority code is. Thanks to this forum I understand 10 is better than 19. My saleswoman was not in, but a salesman was willing to print my order status out for me, and he was surprised (maybe a little perturbed) to see my priority code was 10. He said something along the lines of "that's odd, somebody must have requested this code," which leads me to believe my saleswoman is quietly pulling for me behind the scenes.

Also on the bright side, since I placed the order I've been making monthly car payments to myself and that account is getting fat, so when the car is finally available I'll have a nice big downpayment and a smaller loan to negotiate, which is a plus with interest rates going up.

It'll be a bummer if the tax credit gets reduced by the time I take delivery, but there's nothing I can do about that, except maybe ordering a similarly outfitted Select and let the orders race each other. But I need the long range battery, so for now I'll just sit tight.

Bottom line, I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed like all of us in the same boat, with at least the knowledge that FOMOCO is finally admitting I (we) exist, and that my saleswoman is doing the best job she can under the circumstances.

Keep your stick on the ice. We're all in this together.

Your math is optimistic. I ordered 6 months ago and have no scheduled production yet. You can get a sense of time between order and delivery from many other threads. I've seen 3 to 12 months.

General sense quoted in my other threads, is that dealers honor the price the order at time they accepted it.

Your timeline was correct before recent (extra) delays and the war. Now that CR1 and Premium are off the menu, it's impossible to predict. Good luck! If I get a 7 month total time, we will have fireworks at home.

My first knee-jerk reaction to the email was "FU FORD!", but then I calmed down and realized that this is a good thing. Communication from Ford in any form is good - even if it isn't very informative. For me, it's a "sign of life" email. April 1st will mark 6 months since I placed my order, and the wait continues!
Hey, can you do me a favor, can you take a screen shot of your order sheet, minus the part with your name and order number, I'm wondering what is different compared to my CA Rt 1, AWD ER. Kent
