Android Auto Navigation Issue

I am a Google Maps beta tester, the latest version works again for miles to destination or to a charger with preconditioning. Version 26.10.01.877073638.

I tried that version yesterday and it was still not working. I didn't have much time to test it. Maybe I need to clear cache or data.

I just installed it and it worked. Google Maps V. 26.10.01.877073638, Android Auto V. 16.4.661014.

Frustratingly I'm in the same boat. Maps just updated to 26.10.01.877073638 for me, but still no change - 0 mi to go on the IPC. I tried clearing Google Maps cache and everything but no dice.

Make sure you also update the android auto app as well. I had to update both and when just the maps was updated it didn't work.

v16.3 of Android Auto was pushed to my Pixel 10 Pro XL today and it fixes the distance indicator. I'm not on the beta, this is production.

Confirming the Android Auto update fixed this for me a well.

Z Fold 7 running Google Maps 26.10.01.877073638; Sideloaded the apk for Android Auto 16.4.661014 which was the fix.

Thanks! I stand corrected. I didn't realize I had an Android Auto update (16.3.660834) I had to manually apply. That fixed it - distance indicator is working again for me too.

Me too - Android auto updated today to version 16.3.660834 along with Google maps version 26.10.01.877073638 and the distance indicator and preconditioning work again for me. (Preconditioning verified with Car scanner.) I am not a beta tester for either app.
