It's possible; the question is how to make it smaller. Shrink everything? Rotate the vehicle image 90 degrees? Remove some information? It's already supposed to hide the left side info when resized below a certain width, but I see it's stopped working and I hadn't noticed so that's back on my to-do list.
Rotating the vehicle image when the widget height is decreased would be cool. Possibly even remove the tire information (or toggable?) and move the battery bar and range up underneath it?

Right now when you shrink the height, some information is lost and the lock icon is being missplaced.

I'm using a OnePlus Nord 5G with andriod 11 if that matters.

Attaching an image on how it's displayed for me when decreasing the widget height.

I am getting unpredictable updating in the widget(Google Play version). It often won't update for hours. I have update interval set to 5 min and battery optimization off. Two ways to get it to update are refresh in the app, or refresh the screen in Ford Pass. Is there another setting I need to change?

Triple-tap on "Last refresh" and look at the last update and last alarm values. Last update is the last time the app read new data from the servers, and last alarm is the last time the app checked for new data. Last alarm should update every 5 minutes with your interval/battery settings. If it's not, then be sure to enable logging and after it's run for a while upload logs to GitHub under a new issue.

Last update normally should change every 5 minutes also; however, I've seen on occasion (I noticed this happen two months ago) that somehow the data from Ford would regress back in time; for example, it would literally tell me the car was somewhere I was 5 hours ago, even though since then it had displayed the correct info. Under this condition, last update would be the time it saw new data.

Yeah, shrinking the height will chop off info. Moving the location of the lock icon is... weird.

I was able to reproduce the lock icon being misplaced. It's actually in the correct place; the real problem is the car's image is being shrunk. I believe it's dependent on the launcher respecting the minimum widget height. Pixel Launcher works correctly, but Nova 7 does the same thing you're seeing.[/QUOTE]

The app is now available on Google Play. There are no major differences between it and the GitHub version, except that there is no option to check for updates and install through the app.

Thanks to the early testers for helping get this up and running.

Has the app stopped showing OTA status for Canadian VINs?

I'm not seeing it in the app anymore, and I can't even find it manually on the Ford website

Not that I'm aware. You can check to see what the app is seeing by enabling logging, and then once you save the log search in it for "fuseResponse". If that is null, then Ford's not sending any info.

Ah, OK. When I look at the log, there is no fuseResponse at all

Ok; the other string to look for would be "This vehicle doesn't support OTA updates". If that's the case, you caught an old bug and need to wipe data log in again.

Would it be possible to have an alternative, smaller, widget as the current one takes up too much space (according to my preferences)?
Here's a mock-up of a smaller version of the widget. For reference, Its dimensions are 5w x 1h. Feedback?

Nice small version. I don't know if it's feasable but may I suggest a 2h version similar to this?

Looks awesome! If possible, add "last refresh" somewhere :)

What would it take to replace the vector graphic with an image of the actual vehicle?
