My 22 GT (10,400mi), February 22 build date, is at the dealer again after being towed in Monday due to a dead 12v (yes I know how to jump and charge it, I have done it before, but I shouldn't have to on a car I haven't even had a year, and I wanted them to find the problem for good this time, this is the 3rd or 4th trip in for the same thing).
This is after it was there all day last Friday to look into why I had a charge fault and SVS, doors not unlocking, alarm notifications when the alarm clearly hadn't gone off, along with other random failures that were the same as the first time the 12v failed last October. I am also experiencing "drive mode not available", "washer fluid low" when its full. They found no issues of course and sent it home.
They finally updated me yesterday saying I have two bad door modules that are draining the 12v. They are ordering parts to replace them and will have my car "at least a week".

My question is, does this seem legit? I can't see how bad door modules would cause all these other problems, but I am not super familiar with how everything is interconnected so I could be missing something. Any insights or advice welcomed.

Have you been getting any "service 12V battery" messages or the like recently?

Door modules did have some bad software that caused false car alarms. An update is available that fixes that. I have not heard of a door module draining the 12V battery before, but it is possible/plausible.

You're not using any 3rd party apps to monitor or control charging, or efficiency data such as Recurrent or Optiwatt right?

I have never had a warning about the 12v. Just had it fully die on me twice.
No third party apps.
I don't even use PAAK or really even use the Ford app because half the time it doesn't connect to the car anyways.

Yeah that could be a module randomly not shutting down or some kind of wiring problem. A couple times it was caused by rodents chewing wires.
