Is your car's software fully up to date? One of the updates in the last 6/7 months changed the braking to a stop behavior and it now brakes / stops like a human that knows how to brake to a stop without a jerk. It involves unloading the suspension before fully stopping.
I seriously doubt they will come in unless there is some written agreements. I would not make these big investments only to find out US passed some new rules/regulations to prevent the business.

I disagree with you on Rivian. They have the cash to sustain themselves and by freezing Georgia and tapping Illinois for more tax incentives they bought themselves more time. Plus, the commercial vans are all over the place here in the city. They opened the biz up to others outside of Amazon. Their R1 suv is very good and their forecasts are based on leasing / selling 50k, which is not a lot. Their store in my block is humming with visitors. I have high hopes they’ll make it through and offer a non-Tesla alternative.
There is a YouTube video about CyberTruck where the maker guy named Lucky Lopez says “most of the drivers of this truck are gonna be either soccer moms, or crypto bros driving to their court dates or child support hearings”, I literally hadn’t laughed that hard in days until I heard that LMAO.

I mean I see like 5 every day which is a lot given how fresh the company is. Even my wife noticed it the other day and said they are everywhere. Sure I see about 50 Subarus but I see maybe one Mach E a week lol. And if Mach E is this rare of a sight, forget about the rest of the brands.
Their earning is negative. If they can't turn it around and sell cars at profit in the upcoming years. it is a matter of time. Maybe some one will buy them out though. Anyway, none of my business, I am not their customer or shareholder. Just a speculator. But reading the Fisker stuff does make me giggle. $70K car to $25k in 3 months. The hit is instant once you fail.
Looks like they’re selling the Oceans for $24k off sticker at the moment ($61k to $37k). Not quite 70k to 25k but that’s a serious price drop!
While that company is in deep trouble, I have personally never ONCE seen even ONE car by that brand and I have traveled a lot in the last five years on the road. I have seen a “SUGAR TON” of Teslas, a handful of Rivians, a handful Mach E, and very few “others” combined.
There was a owner who bought ocean one for $75K out the door, and he went 2 ask Carmax for trade in just after 3 month he got the car because of the news. Carmax offered around $22K. Market price for used one is probably $25K. That new sticker is just their asking price. Not sure many will take the leap of faith to take their inventory clearance. EVs require proprietary software to diagnose and repair.
