Another HVJB Failure or what?

Hello to the Forum,

Couple of years reading the Forum but first time posting. I live in Greece and I have a '23 AWD with 40.000km on her. After a long roadtrip, i got a Service Vehicle Soon message together with HVB warning and Power Malfunction. After 2 restarts the message went away. I got her to the dealer and they said that they found a defect in a component in the battery compartment and it is not covered under warranty. They sent me the offer (2k€) and it states only a "Connector" part + work.
I called Ford Greece and they requested the offer to review it.
Since currently there is no error displayed in the car or FordPass, I would like to ask:
1. Is it the HVJB or could it be something else?
2. If it is the HVJB, should it be covered under warranty?

Actually, the email from the dealer includes a description in greek that implies a HVBJB failure. However, they said that I can drive the car without a problem and return when I decide to proceed with the order - after paying in advance first. I have escalated the issue with Ford Hellas and wait for their feedback.
EDIT: Is it safe to drive the car, even if the messages have gone away?

100% covered, 8 years, 100,000 miles in US. No idea what Greek coverage is. Read your warranty.

The HVJB has been replaced here in the US at least once on a recall.
Mine didn’t fail on my 2021 AWD Premium, but Ford replace it anyways.
Yes, it is a warranted part that would be replaced by Ford. Communicate with Ford Hellas to have the part replaced by the dealer.

I am very happy to e-meet you. I have already sent an email to Ford Hellas and they told me that they requested more info from the dealer. However, they asked me whether a discount would satisfy me; absolutely not I replied.
I will post an update when I have more news.

Great news!
After my complaint, Ford Hellas accepted replacing the HVBJ under warranty.
They called the dealer (VELMAR) and they ordered the new part immediately.
Just a note to the Greek owners: Don't accept what the dealers tell you. Do your research and contact Ford Hellas if you cannot reach an understanding with them.
