Any tips on opening the trunk while in the car (so it doesn't relock)?

Any tips on opening the trunk while in the car? Every time that I unlock it through the screen and get out of the car, the trunk has already locked again. Is there a setting to fix this?

I bought a new headlight switch assembly for an Explorer that has the trunk button, and transferred it to the Mach E’s, replacing the Max Defrost button. There is already a max defrost permanently on the touch screen.
On one of pages there is a right up on what to hook it up to for it also work while the car is off and unlocked.

You have to unlock the doors in your case. Press the unlock button on the door, then get out and press the button in the trunk handle to unlatch it.
