Are these door button crack lines normal?

I've recently taken our car into a dealership for its two year service, and raised a couple of issues which included
these crack lines, that are now showing on 3 of the doors. The dealership called me back saying that they have looked at other cars and it seems the same and they will not fix them.

Are they just trying to brush me off or are these panels defective?

Strange one indeed as why do some panel have it and not all?

as luck would have it also had these behind the panel spots appear, that's not on the surface but behind

That is a good question. I've had two MME's and my first one had it on all four doors and my current one only on two doors. Maybe it's a variation in the manufacturing process?

While, I did not have a surface crack; I did suffer a significant scratch on that door panel. I showed the guy that did my PPF when I recieved the car 2 years prior and he put a small piece of PPF over that panel and poof; it was gone. Maybe that would work for your?

great idea for the marks at the top of the panel

I put these on my car to protect my door pillars from scratches. They cover almost the whole panel with cut outs for the door buttons and door code entry. They've been on for 2 years and still look great, super easy installation!

It's common, but don't fall for the line that it is "normal" . It is a defect and is covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. I've had mine replaced and they started cracking again. I have premium care and going to see if they will replace it under that. @Ford Motor Company Do better.

That’s good to know, not great that this is happening and no proper resolution and accountability, having a poor design that breaks needs to be addressed and improved

Paint protection film.

my replaced driver door panel lasted 5 months, cracked again. It also messes up the button when it cracks. I noticed the 1 door I have that doesn’t have a cracked button opens every time on the first push. The others might require two or three pushes.
