i've been in the back of an i-pace. the materials are definitely top-notch and nicer than a tesla3 for sure.

but it felt cramped, especially with the front seat set for me (6', 34" inseam)
I'm shorter, so I doubt I'll have an issue on that front.

agree, the seats look very flat with little bolstering or cushioning. will reserve judgment until sitting in them...

not a deal breaker, as front seat comfort is more critical.

but disappointed nonetheless.
Remember, that's another one of those infamous 'artist renderings'. I don't trust any of them. The actual ME seats might be different.

Viewing from the front in renderings and in person makes me think the view out the back pretty well. No, nothing like the view through that huge back window of my pickup, but much better than some recent cars I've tried (early Juke, mid-2010s VW bug).

I was looking at the media site and downloaded the exterior B-Roll from
https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/permalink.html?VideoId=6103839363001

As modern cars go, the visibility out the back window (as seen through the front in the video) looks pretty good.

I'll take it!
exactly! I am perfectly content not overpaying for "luxury" or "status"; "comfortable" and "practical" are good enough for me.

At $20,000 off MSRP on an I-Pace, and a price difference of roughly $2,000 between a similarly equipped I-Pace & ME, itā€™s a bit hard to make the ā€˜overpayingā€™ argument on the I-Pace....especially when you factor in the additional luxury component. Now if youā€™re talking about the GT, the prices are virtually the same at $60,000 and both get the Fed tax credits.

Iā€˜m not saying one is better than the other, theyā€˜re both great, but at least on a new 2019 I-Pace, the overpaying argument doesnā€™t work unless you say both cars are overpriced.

In France there is no reduction on vehicles over ā‚¬ 45,000, so the I Pace is much more expensive from ā‚¬ 20 to ā‚¬ 30,000 than the MME. The question does not arise.
The Jag is in the courtyard of the E-Tron, the Q4 is not immediately available ....

Well, I donā€™t know if ā€œpracticalā€ has ever been a big Mustang selling point. At best, the MME is is sports car with a bit of added practicality. That works for me.
