I've started getting some audio distortion when listening to the stereo, but it's weirdly intermittent. Most often when I first get in the car, it sounds fine. And then over time, it gets more and more distorted. I thought it was just carplay, but when things start getting distorted, I can flip over to the FM and that's distorted too. I've restarted the car, and the infotainment system manually and that didn't make a difference.

I'd say it's the speaker, but why would it start normal and then get worse as the day goes on? And not necessarily all the time, sometimes I can get through the day without distortion.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Would be a hard one to bring in to the dealership, because it doesn't happen reliably after starting the car...

I noticed something similar a few years back with my sound, they ended up replacing the center speaker because of it. If it's the same issue you might be able to isolate it better by changing the balance in the speakers, shift it to the rear or to one of the door speakers and see if it sounds better. I also thought it was more noticeable with either podcasts or music that had more pronounced speaking.

That thread seems to describe it to a T. Thank you!
