Autel MaxiCharger (40A)

I have an electrician coming out in a week to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet as well as to set up whatever EVSE I go with.

I haven’t seen much discussion regarding the Autel MaxiCharger (40A) with the built-in holster.

It seems to have a pretty good price point ($430 range) when to compared to similar ChargePoints, JuiceBoxes, etc.

From seeing other posts, I do not think it has a North American safety listing (UL, CSA, ETL). ?‍?

Autel’s website seems to indicate that it is UL/CSA certified.

if you search on the forums, you'll find some comments / threads about it ..
i had it installed a couple of weeks ago .. seems to be a well built unit and set up was easy ..
but i dont have a car to test it with yet

If you haven’t done so already, check with your local electric utility. I got my JuiceBox 40 for $179 and a monthly rebate for time of use charging.

I have one, Qualified for a rebate from my local electric utility, (PNM) New Mexico. I am having it installed this week. no car yet either. I assume PNM would not have qualified it unless it met the required standards.

I have a ChargePoint but I got to test out the Autel. I liked it a lot. Good indicator lights and the app is full of features. I like being able to limit AMPs via the app.
