Auto Wiper blade random swipes

Has anyone had the wiper blades when on Auto just randomly do a swipe on a nice sunny day??

I have had this issue. There is a courtesy wipe in the settings you can turn off. I still get an occasional wipe when I start the car though.

Yeah, happens sometimes, I turn off auto wipers if it isn’t raining though

Yes. Many of us.

And the courtesy wipe feature has nothing to do with it. That wipe is an extra wipe AFTER you wash the windshield to catch the drips.

Turning off the auto wipers stops it.

Pollen for me has been triggering the wipes this spring.

i'm pretty sure it does the wipe because it thinks there is a camera obstruction and it is doing the wipe to try to clear the view. Sort of the same as how the rain sensor works.

This is completely conjecture, i've just noticed it does the wipe often after i feel the lane keep assist have some difficulty
