For those who use snow tires, this might be of interest. I will need new snow tires next winter so I thought I would shop now in search of a bargain and I found one. Tire Rack has Bridgestone Blizzaks, in my Mach e's size (245/45R-20) for $119.23 each. Here's the catch: The tires are three years old. Evidently this is not a popular size and Tire Rack couldn't sell them. The tires come with the full manufacture's warranty (which doesn't start until you install them on your car) plus a free 2-year road hazard warranty and free shipping. The model number is LM005XL. These tires have been stored in Tire Rack's warehouse, which I presume is heated so they were not subject to harsh weather. I ordered mine this week and they were delivered three days later. Yes, the rubber may have hardened a bit, but I think the savings make them a worthwhile purchase.
