Bay Area Fall Meet-Up

We should do another Mach-E Meet-Up! Hit the poll for your favorite date(s). Suggestions on where to meet up would be great. We have done Alice's in Woodside and Breajker's Cafe in Redwood City. How's the back parking lot at Ford Greenfield Labs in Palo Alto sound? Or something in Pacifica? Or... ??

I'm thinking we get together for gabbing about our cars and photo ops around 10:00 then go somewhere for lunch? ??

So far, that’s where the suggestions have been. If you know of somewhere that is neat and has enough parking for half a dozen to a dozen extra cars throw in a suggestion and we can all discuss. ??

Pleasanton is having a Good Guy’s car show event that I think would be fun.

Downtown Pleasanton is a nice quaint slice of Americana.

Main Street has about 30 nice restaurants to choose from.

There is always a bunch of cool cars around town during the event.

Pleasanton Main Street is dog friendly.

There are plenty of restaurants with patio’s and parklets that allow dogs.

I take DugthePug with me all the time.

He’s not allowed in my MME yet as he’s a shedding machine.

It still has the new car smell!

I am a volunteer docent at The Cobra Experience Museum in Martinez. Other car groups and clubs use our monthly Cars and Coffee event to meet up and then tour the museum. We have a large parking lot that can handle over 100 cars. The Diablo Valley Mustang Association is having their annual car show at the museum on Oct. 14. The museum is devoted to the preservation of the cars built by Shelby American from 1962 to 1967. The collection includes original Cobras, Shelby GT-350's, and GT-40s. The next two Cars and Coffee events are scheduled for Oct. 15 and Nov.19. More info at cobraexperience.org.

If you end wanting to come to the museum I can block enough parking spaces for the group so you can keep the cars together. I just need to know how many cars and which date. Cars and Coffee goes from 8:30 - 10, and museum is open from 10-3.

The next time the Cobra Experience is open to the public is Sunday, Oct. 15th.

Not that I could attend, but meeting up in front of the Main Gate to the Tesla Plant in Fremont with all your mach-e's sounds .. fun.

I like Dug's Dad Pat's idea of the Good Guys car show on 11/11. I should be able to drive again by then and if I'm really lucky might even have done another lighting mod or two as well.

The Cobra museum also sounds super cool. But maybe we can do that another time since the Good Guys thing is just an annual deal (I think).
