Best app to find Tesla Supercharging stations?

What is the best app to find Tesla SC stations? I have one at 7624 West Reno Ave #380 Oklahoma City, OK 73127 that I can't find in several charging apps, I tried to charge there today but was unsuccessful.

According to Plugshare that's a Tesla only site (V1 or V2 Superchargers). Though I don't use it, the Tesla app is probably the most up-to-date source of information. Plugshare has never let me down, however.

I used Tesla’s app to locate several. PlugShare can also be configured to find Tesla stations. ??

Look for them in the Ford Pass app and it should say adapter needed if it is one you can use and you click on it. I think it will have --kw if it is not compatible to use on our cars without clicking on it.

The only SC in the OKC area that is compatible is at the homeland at 625 NE 36th St. It does for sure work, I charged there Friday.

There is also only one for the Tulsa area that is compatible as well.


I just use Fordpass the incompatible stations show a "--kw" on the map and then say not compatible if you click on it.

I have been traveling in California for a week now. Find that the app Chargeway works best for me.
Chargeway color codes Tesla sites in Red and CCS in green. The sites shown are compatible with Mach-e and an adapter.
Plug share shows chargers but you need to tap on a brown icon to see what type of charger.
With the heavy concentration of Tesla chargers in the Bay area Chargeway made it easier to find a close one on my route. BTW, I have been charging on both networks.

I'm new to using charging apps but ChargeHub seems the best one for me. It is Canadian but includes US charging stations along with appropriate filters

Don't only go by Supercharger version number. Although V1 and V2s will never support the adapter, not all V3s have been opened up to non-Tesla. There is a V3 station by me that is not listed in the Tesla app. I believe it was originally a V2 location that was updated to V3 dispensers. It would not connect when I went there to try it.

Tesla sites that are a combination of V2 and V3 Superchargers will not be compatible - even the V3 Superchargers at these locations. Tesla did it this way to eliminate the confusion within a single charging location, where some of the chargers (V3) could be compatible and others (V2) would not. So at these sites, none of the Superchargers are compatible. Like others have said - check the app for the list of compatible sites. Either the Tesla app/Web site, Ford Pass, or the Public Charging app in the car. The most up-to-date will likely be direct from Tesla.

I don't know why anyone wouldn't simply use the Tesla app, or if you don't like giving the crazy man your info, simply use Tesla.com. The amount of time people are wasting "trying my local Tesla Supercharger) without first seeing if it's compatible is pretty crazy. See picture below for the two options to select that should ALL COMPATIBLE STATIONS, including those with Magic Docks.

My friend who has a Tesla is always planning his roadtrip stops based on the version of SuperCharger (prefers faster charging).
The app has always been correct at the ones I've tried, so the typical non-Telsa driver can just skip looking for SC version numbers and go by what the app says you can do.

Big Dave please use the Tesla app or Tesla.com. You’ll save yourself some time by just doing that simple step.
