That one is not available on Amazon. I'm going to give this one a try since I'm installing a front and rear camera this weekend. https://www.amazon.com/Hifihia-Type-Compatible-Ford-2020-2024/dp/B0DDP99C1P Somebody recommended this camera on this group, so hopefully it works out! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D6J5B98H
I'm sure that cam will work fine, just so you know it's not actually 4k. There are quite a few of these less expensive cameras that advertise 4k, but they are lying.

It'll be good enough to see what happened, but you won't be able to get much detail, license plate numbers, etc.

Here are a couple reviews for those interested; the first from Vortex covers the better cameras, the second from Project Farm covers the budget stuff.

Have you by chance checked the usb connection behind the mirror? On the off chance vibrations something loose.

I've been running the adapter for about a year with my radar detector, so far with no issue.
I should have followed up with my issue. I’m fairly certain that I had pinched the USB cable and it took about a year for the cable to fail. I replaced the cable with a little more sturdier one and hopefully reinstalled the plastic piece a little more carefully and haven’t had a problem since

so bottom line was user error on my end

And I should have given attention to how old your post was, didn't realize it was from October... the thread popped up active and I just went with it.

Thanks for following up, glad to hear it's working.

Do you happen to know if it's *MANDATORY* to have both the ACC and Constant wires tapped at the same time? Or can I use only the ACC wire? (The camera doesn't seem to power on with only ACC connected, not sure if that's a faulty wire or if it just won't work unless all wires are installed)
I'm probably not the best source to answer your question, but assuming your ACC source is, indeed, 'hot' when your car is 'on', then I would suspect the wiring. Have you verified there is actually voltage at the source (i.e. at the fuse box or wherever you're connected) when your car is on? Can you verify voltage at the camera's line in from the power source? Knowing this would help with troubleshooting.

Does the 12V (cigarette) accessory plug stay energized for 12 minutes now after the post-key off OTA update? If so, you can have a built in 12 minute parking mode on the dash cam until the 12V switches off.
