That would not be appropriate for the MME because it’s only rated for 40A.
please tell me how many level II houses and businesses share over 40 amp to "oppertune" change..or as you deem "appropriate"...gee didn't mean to offend you

I‘m not sure what you’re asking, so I don’t know how to answer.

Is the Tesla charger on a 60A circuit and set to 48A? The charging rate is negotiated between the car and the EVSE. The adapter does not have the ability to negotiate.
Correct, 60A circuit, charger is set to 48A which my Tesla Model 3 charges at. However, I use a 40A Lectron and my MME is charging at 40A.

How do you know the MME is charging at 40A? The kW reading in FordPass?

Any concensus on the best NACS adapter? Will the one offered by Ford be better then aftermarket?
I'm here in Japan, and Always watching 1) Battery growth and use ALL HAIL PANASONIC, 2) ADAPTERS.... I have a CCS truck, and had to get a CCS-ChADEMO adapter.... WE ARE ABOUT TO GET FLOODED WITH CCS to TESLA adapters, give it 30 days pilots!!!!!

the charger negotiates 1) signal, 2) Voltage 3) amps....and guess what, my adapter hasn't melted yet, and I've plugged into over 60 amps for 4 years now...and believe me, I am the least lucky person on this planet... DO NOT FOLLOW ME AROUND VEGAS (maybe dennys)

FordPass isn’t overly accurate since it only shows what goes into the battery and rounds down, but what does it say?
I see 9.5-9.6kW when I pull it up on FordPass

FordPass doesn’t show decimals in the charging rate.
I'm not looking at it at the moment, so maybe it's just showing 9 and I'm just thinking the decimal since that's what I know it to be. It's been a while since I checked, but I do recall it converting to 40A.

That is what’s going into the battery. It’s not accounting for losses, so you’re pulling more than 40A from the EVSE. When I plug my car into my 48A ChargePoint Home Flex, it pulls about 45A but FordPass reports that it’s charging at 9kW.

Thanks for the explanation. I’ll reach out again and ask to confirm, but this has me a little concerned now.

In reality, the adapter is probably over engineered and probably won’t melt at 48A. But I would still switch to one that’s rated for 48A just to be safe.

Regarding the OP's original question, as answered by others, there are none available yet.

On a related thread, I suppose Tesla does manufacture the Magic Dock, which is an existing physical adapter that the Mach-E can use to access the SuperCharger. Thus, they *can* build one (at an unknown cost). And Tesla is currently providing charging at V3 SuperChargers to Mach-Es, so their software can already work with the existing Mach-E software.

If Ford wants to build their own adapter and update all our cars' software to use the SuperChargers, hopefully, the fact Tesla is already providing charging to Mach-Es greatly improves the chance there will be no delays(?) beyond Spring 2024, e.g. "We haven't quite figured out how to do it yet".
