I received an email from Ford yesterday at 11 am and here is the first line - "Your Ford BlueCruise (trial) service is coming to an end for Mustang Sal-E and will expire on 12/31/2023 if you choose not to renew."
I really don't travel that much on BC mapped roads and have not been impressed with 1.0 performance when I do (frequent dropouts). Plus I never really use cruise control that often ( I like driving the car!!). So, even though its a $600/3 year offer, I'm passing. Hands free just doesn't mean that much to me. For others with different driving needs and habits, it's probably a no-brainer.
Right, but it doesn't say the offer expires 12/31

If you have a Job 1 car you need ot make that choice before Sunday night (12/31/2023) or the offer is gone. That is according to Ford.
Why do people keep saying this? I’ve seen no evidence that Ford has ever said that. The free BC trial expires 12/31, but that doesn’t mean the renewal offer also expires then. If it did, I think Ford would make that abundantly clear with an “Act now before it’s too late” kind of pitch.

In the next paragraph from Ford, it states "As one of our early adopters, we're offering you a special one-time discounted rate on a BlueCruise Connected Service plan - three (3) more years of service for just $600.* If you don't want to take advantage of this 3-year offer, BlueCruise Connected Service plans are also available at the regular monthly or annual rate through the FordPass App or your Ford Account."
My interpretation of this is the 3 year/$600 offer expires after today. After that, its available for the regular price. I guess the way we can find out for sure is to see if Ford will honor the offer tomorrow.

I guess we shall see tomorrow.

I really don’t understand why the $600 offer is only available for job 1 cars, nor that it would expire.

Job 1 had to wait to get BC, but they also didn’t have to pay for it.

IMO, job 1 was reimbursed by getting “free BC” until 12/31/23.

Job 2 (like me) got it right away, but also already paid $600 two years ago.

And, most importantly, we BOTH paid $1900 for the HARDWARE, that is given to newer cars for FREE.

If you paid $1900 for the hardware, there is no situation where you should pay the same price for BC subscription as people who got the 360 cameras and necessary hardware for FREE.

But it doesn’t say that. In my opinion, if that was the case, they would state the expiration date of the offer. They wouldn’t leave it up to interpretation.

It’s fine that people are guessing or interpreting, but I wish people wouldn’t state it as fact “according to Ford” when that‘s not what it says.

I agree it's all speculation until we find out in the new year. I hope everyone one here has a safe and happy holiday. Thanks for all the community help and support.

I find Ford's messaging to be ambiguous also. I hit the renew button a few days ago, just to be sure I didn't miss out.
You've been on this forum at least as long as I have. I'd think you'd be used to people stating things as absolute fact when they're just speculating...

Happy New Year forum.
So my Bluecruise says cancellation pending with no ability to renew now (3yr, monthly or otherwise). What do we think that means? (I know it's all speculation at this point).

Still shows valid for me
I just checked as well. It’s still shows the $600 for three years offer. This is all a non issue for me as there are no freeways here, but for others it gives them options.
