One set of cow eyeballs from a science supply store and some clear resin to seal them in. Place the block of resin, with the eyeballs, in front of the eye nanny camera.

Halloween is coming up...this solution could have multiple uses. Hmmmmmm. ;)

Not sure if this would help or not.
This is for normal cruise control it seems... I'm going to try putting a picture of eye balls in front of the sensor. Though I doubt that will work lol.

To answer the original poster, didn’t someone find that it was possible to construct an image that would “fool” these sensors?

I don't believe there is a workaround, and if there were, I would advise against using it as BC equipped vehicles have an internal camera that takes a picture of the driver under certain conditions, and if you aren't just "checking the rearview mirror" or whatever, that could go poorly.

So I would not go for workarounds, personally, just a friendly reminder if you weren't aware of that. The issue is either something you are doing or a problem with the Mach-E. I would have the dealer check for codes indicating LED issues, like this one:

That could indicate one of your two eye tracking sensors isn't working properly, and may explain if there is a legitimate reason for it to be bugging you that much.

It shouldn't be an issue. Not to an extent where someone would seek a workaround. I have BC in my F-150 and our Mach-E, and have put a couple thousand miles of active BlueCruise time in, and I only receive an alert when it's "earned", and even then it's maybe one an hour if that.

Anyway, I did read your OP, I know you said you didn't want tips, but I assume you were referring to people telling you to pay attention. I am assuming you are paying attention, and not distracted driving a three ton missile down the highway and suggesting it may be a hardware issue.

Good luck!

Maybe I will try it but not sure of the advantage.
It means the wheel nanny won't yell at you and you can get 95% of BlueCruise value without having BlueCruise. I don't have it - adaptive cruise only on my GT.

Is this something that would show up in fordpass as an issue instead of having to take it to the dealer to check?

You just need an OBD2 code reader, it won't show in FordPass because it isn't a critical fault.
