One note: Ford adds a 10% surcharge to the FPL rate. It’s $0.30/kWh in the FPL app, and $0.33/kWh via Ford.
I used the one in Naples a little over a week ago and Ford charged me $0.35/kw through the Public Charging app. Not sure what that’s all about as they don’t mark up other charging brands, at least as far as I know. Back to the FP&L app.
Here's what I think is happening.

FPL shows the pre-tax rate.
EA shows the pre-tax rate.
Tesla app shows the AFTER-tax rate.

I looked up 2 FPL locations that I charged at, and Ford is showing the AFTER-tax rate. I looked up an EA location and Ford is showing the pre-tax rate. For Tesla, they are showing the AFTER-tax rate.

Quite confusing, but not a markup I don't think.

At Daytona, my FPL charge had over 8 cents of taxes and franchise fee for 38.3 cents total, whereas others are closer to 33.2 cents, hence my prior comments about how the taxes CAN raise the rate a lot (38.3 cents is 27.7% higher than 30 cents).

Well, I’ll go try the Naples location again tomorrow and see what I get charged.

@RickMachE you are right. Charged at Tesla, EA and FP&L yesterday.

Tesla - advertised at $0.47/kwh by Tesla. Charged at $0.47/kwh through Ford Blue Oval P&C. $0.47/kwh is the after tax rate.

EA - advertised @ $0.56/kWh by both EA and Ford. Charged at $0.60/kWh. In this case the advertised rate of $0.56/kwh is the pre-tax rate.

FP&L - advertised rate by FP&L is $0.30/kWh and the advertised rate by Ford is $0.035/kwh. Charged at $0.35/kwh through the FP&L app and the same $0.35/kwh through Ford Blue Oval Network using Public Charging app last week. $0.35/kwh is the after tax rate And $0.30/kwh is the ore-tax rate.

It would be nice if this standardized to one or the other, you know, like how the big, lit up gas price per gallon sign shows you the all-in price.

IMO, Ford should display what the network displays, so the issue here is with FPL and Ford using the after tax rate.

Yes, everyone should display the after tax rate, but EA and others do not.
