I thought we were going to get CCS-NACS adaptors so that we could use ANY supercharger, not a subset.
couple of things being mixed together here:

- the 7,500 number was from this White House announcement that says 3,500 tesla superchargers are opening up and the rest were tesla destination chargers
- the ford-tesla announcement last week was for access to tesla V3 superchargers (about 12,000 out of ~18,000 total US superchargers) to become available "early 2024" via adapters that may or may not be sent to us for something between zero $$ and the then current value of Twitter

I don't expect I'll be interested in a Blue Oval paid subscription to access additional Superchargers on top of the 3,500+ that we'll all have for free at that time.
Wait until spring or so when I personally expect pricing to come out. There might be an advantage to the BOCN. Might not as well. We shall see.

But does it????

Some of us who have the EA BlueOval Membership have a different date for the balance. So, we have 2 expiration dates. Since I've used all of mine I have no idea if it actually got extended or not.

That’s from my Lightning I bought in June of 22, so it checks out for that one at least.

How much is the connected built in navigation after trial is over. Mine expires March 2024. I use it when I go on longer unfamiliar road trips to get to next charging station. I also use Plugshare and ABRP but find the navigation easy to use.

It just keeps getting worse and worse. I feel that Ford is nickel-and-diming for every last feature. Am I the only one who wants the features they paid for without a subscription (not to mention an arbitrary trial period) ?

BC is builtin. The Plug-and-Charge is such a basic feature that it should not be subject to being taken away or put behind a paywall. Make both free, but in the case of BC subscriptions can be tied to upgrades or map data access. For BOCN, have a free tier (Plug and Charge only) and a premium tier (discount at EA and other stations).

Yes, it was a trial program offered to some of us. We get the membership rate and don't have to pay for it, which is very nice. It was publicly offered for a week or two I think (maybe just days), Ford pulled it and then manually enabled it for some people.
With the EA membership in blue oval do you get the member rate? I haven't seen this as an option to select which is a real pain bc it's choosing between plug and charge or the discounted rate.
I had to deactivate plug and charge to get the EA membership rate on a recent 3000 mile trip which incidentally went off without a problem charging at 12 different EA locations across the southwest.

I still have no date on mine when looking at the webpage
1685563778113.webp

but the JSON data shows the 2024 end date.
startDate: "2021-10-24"
endDate: "2024-10-23"
I have twice the no date:
Ford Mustang Mach-E BlueOval Charge Network Trial Extended 1685617562433

And can't find the relevant JSON. Ah, well. It'll expire when it expires and I probably won't even notice.

I used up all my free charging in the first year (got my MME June21). It extended my free miles date by one year, but I am already at 0kwh.

I have no clue what it means as I used up the last of my free credits last summer. Extending until 0kwh expires is exactly that useless. I have a CC tied to it that is it. Still use it from time to time.

BlueOval and Connected Navigation both expire 3/30/24 for me (I bought my car 3/31/21). Oddly though, BlueCruise expires 12/31/2023. I thought those of us who got the car early got 3 years of BlueCruise?

Nope. Job 1 cars got 1 year of free BlueCruise. Then it was extended to the end of 2023. You're also grandfathered in to the original renewal cost of $600 for 3 years when it does expire.

You don't have to deactivate. If you would rather use your EA account just activate the unit in the app before plugging in. Once activated then plug in and it will use the app instead of P&C.

Ford hasn't said. But we can use their decisions on other subscriptions to determine that it will be somewhere between free and a lot.
we do have some evidence from a recent post in one of the BlueCruise threads that the Navigation will be $80/yr:

I got a verification from the Fordpass customer service. A Bluecruise subsription is for hands free driving only. My window sticker shows the following related standard equipment for my 2021 J1 MME Premium: Co-pilot 360, Active 2.0 Prep Package. Without BC, everything else but hands free will continue to work. I was told that the listed equipment is part of the car, not part of a subscription. Off topic slightly, but I also learned that Nav is $80/yr when it expires.
