Same here. I still have time left in my trial.

So what do we think this means? What happens if the trial expires? What will we lose?
You'll lose Plug and Charge, and paying for charging through FordPass. And any free kWh charging you had left.

is your new date 12 months after your original expiration then?

i should say, my expiration has been --/--/-- for months so i can't actually even remember what it's supposed to be.... kind of confusing
Just got this email as well. Mine went from --/--/-- to 3 years after my date of purchase.

I got the email too but since Canada doesn't get free charging access it's kind of a moot point. Amusingly, my Trial Expiration Date in the app is --/--/----, whatever that means.

I still have no date on mine when looking at the webpage
Ford Mustang Mach-E BlueOval Charge Network Trial Extended 1685563778113

but the JSON data shows the 2024 end date.
startDate: "2021-10-24"
endDate: "2024-10-23"

Ok that’s what I figured. I mean P&C is convenient, but more expensive.

The bigger question is, will you be able to still use the Tesla Supercharger network after P&C expires.

From my interpretation of it, they've already said that billing will happen through FordPass for Tesla super chargers. Once a station is listed as open in the Tesla app, that should work. But For all 12,000 you'll need to have the subscription to be billed by Ford.

Blue Oval has always been a mystery to me. Does it actually offer any discounted charging, or is it really just about the luxury of using one app (and the special EA integration)?

I guess it'll be more important when it's a requirement for Tesla Supercharger access?

I just got this email. I was wondering what would happen with that since my "trial" expired a few months ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if we hear an announcement at some point that those getting the free CCS>NACS adapter are those in the BlueOval Network.

This extension conveniently pushes existing users into the window of Tesla charging.

Does this extend the time you have to use your free EA kWh ? I mostly charge at home but wouldn’t mind the extension with EA or tesla. With the level 2 st home I don’t even bother looking for grocery stores or restaurants with free charging. What for 25 miles? Hotel are different they must have a level 2

They're probably waiting until they find a way to make it worthwhile to pay for. If they made it a paid service now, everyone would just drop it. I've never considered it a service. Just thought it was Ford's way of making charging convenient. They'll need to do more to make it something worth paying for.

Like granting access to Superchargers?
So do you think there will be an access fee in addition to the charging fee? I still wouldn't plan on using Tesla chargers much. But it would be nice for the occasional trip.

I do think that the BlueOval Charging Network will be required. Whether Ford really ends up charging a subscription fee or how much that will cost remains to be seen.
