Is it cheaper though the cheapest rapid charge option through Electroverse I can see is FOREV which is 50/kwh. Ford has ionity at 43p. Ionity through Electroverse is 71p

I must confess I have never heard of FOREV. Remember to get the 43p you need to pay the subscription to either Ford or Ionity, assuming you're not in your first year of a new MME

Just looked up FOREV they seem to have good prices if you don't subscribe but they all seem to be based in Scotland. I shall have to look them up next time I am in Scotland. Thanks

I'm finding it difficult to get accurate information on this.
I want to know which service is better.

Currently I have Ionity subscription which costs £149/year (£12.42/month) and gives a rate of 36.66p/kwh
But there is the other option of BP Pulse at £94.20/year (£7.85/month) but what price is unit rate of this subscription, I can't find this information anywhere.

Anyone with the subscription know what the discount is?
All I have to say is in the Seattle area we used to have e BpPulse but they have all but disappeared and or never work. You call customer service and they have no answer just that it’s off line. I had 4 very close to my home and all 4 locations offline? Hmm

Ionity Passport Power is great for many reasons. Pros 1) cancel anytime, therefore great for the driver who does the occasional long distance 2) far cheaper 3) Reasonable U.K. network 4) The downside of Ionity - lots of people know about it so their charge stations can get very very busy, so be prepared for a wait and hope that other EV drivers obey the unwritten rules of courtesy number one being ā€˜wait your turn’.

Turning up at a charge station with a long queue is not good especially if you are on a long journey, so I’ll tend to charge at a more expensive place, just to be able to get on with the journey.

So why don’t all the other Rapid charger companies not do a similar deal to Ionity? Surely in this type of business it is better to have volume sales rather than have stupidly expensive rates at charge stations that are hardly ever used (I’m hoping that the Charger companies read this and change what they naively believe is profiteering). After all is a KWh at Ionity not the same as a kWh at Gridserve?
