Thank you for posting the instructions Bill. I have a 2021 Mach-E 4 Select with 16K miles on it. The brakes grab at slow speeds and make a rubbing noise when applying at real slow speeds.
I find it hard to believe your rotors are bad w/ 16,000 miles, no way! You need to put your car in 2-pedal & drive it for awhile!
I have some steering wheel shimmy, under certain conditions….. , but all my rotors are shiny clean. There are some anomalies with this drive system, in regards to brake feel.
I’m working on figuring this out……..time will tell……. Bill P

Just be sure to check & clear any DTCs related to brakes/ABS systems prior to using the “ brake service Mode”……….! Bill P

I’m going to do at least 1 test run before taking anything off the car.

I looked in Forscan today and had a pile of DTCs. Yippie. Looks like my IPMA is still freaking out at random as I didn't have DTC's 2 weeks ago. Looks like any time I get the front collision failure warning it's adding in all these others. I'll reset and do the brakes tomorrow (fingers crossed)

Welp, brakes are done. It was a little odd that the brake service mode seemed to kick in before I was done keying in it's triggers. (I used the 2023 service docs Bill posted, thank you Bill) Doing the brakes was pretty straight forward. My crazy brake bedding procedure was annoying through. Had to do 30 (yes thirty) stops from 30 to 5mph with 30 seconds cooldown between each cycle.
Turning brake service mode off triggered a "Brake System Fault" Which cleared after 2 key cycles (it was really a failed test because I guess it queried the module before it was actually booted coming out of service mode.) Time will tell if this helps.
