I have had mine for 2 weeks and 800 miles. I am 72 years old and for the first week absorbing the tech made me feel like I was drinking from a firehose. Getting my Autel charger to act like a dumb charger solved most of my issues.
Hang in there. My knowledge became clearer mostly because I had to teach the new tech to my wife as soon as I had learned it myself.

The stock rear window wiper is a joke. Get a Trico 15-G or a Bosch A401H blade and replace it. ??
If you road trip a lot ABRP and Plugshare are useful tools. ??
If you are on a road trip, use the built-in navigation to navigate to the L3 chargers you want to use. The car will automatically condition the High Voltage battery before stopping. ??
The frunk is for chillin'! ??

Relax, drive and enjoy! The electric vehicle experience is a whole new world, it is so much better than a internal combustion engine (ICE) you will not be sorry you made the change.

I've postedHI everyone,
I am happy, but also nervous, about my new 2024 Mach E premium. I feel like a need degree in engineering and/or electronics, but what would you suggest should be the top ten things I should know as a newbie?
I've posted on this in previous threads but you won't be able to read all posts in these threads unless your a graduate of the Evelyn Wood Speed Reading course. Here's one thing you should do.Wow; you DID type a lot! I am so grateful for these tips; thank you!
You have to pop off the frunk covers and remove the negative battery terminal. You'll need a 10 mm socket. Leave it off for 5-10 minutes then put it back on and tighten. Popping covers is pretty easy to me, but for some people think it's extremely difficult for some reason. They are a little fussy the first time, but you just pull up harder till they come off. I wear gloves.
Welcome to the Mach-e band, hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine.HI everyone,
