Thanks for the follow up (Mark and Bruce). Interesting about the black box. If the front pony needs a voltage less than 12v, what about the rear pony?

This is 2 mis-wires in a row. BSKT really needs to invest in a simple go/no-go test fixture for the harnesses.
Here is a photo of the correctly wired connector. You can see the white wire from the black box is going to the wire on the end of the connector instead of the middle wire like it was before.

Mark, do you have correct wire harnesses you can ship out from your location, or would the correct harnesses be coming from China?

I’m shipping out correct High harness from here today. Bruce is working on a Low harness and they will be shipped from China unless I can figure out a way to modify the current Low harness’s I have. I don’t have a lot of time. I leave for Europe soon and will be gone three weeks. Trying to get all this done plus working on installing yet another custom grill in my bumper. ?

Hey Mark,
I don’t think the Mach-e community has approved your Europe trip. ? We need to evaluate if we can survive without you for 3 weeks…let alone the time you will be in the air.
Have a good trip and thanks for the pics.

And check that out. A short cut to get to the headlights…just take off the front bumper?

I just figured out I only have 22 High connectors and I shipped out 33 last week with ponies. So not everyone will be getting one of the corrected harnesses. I mean it is a very simple correction to move the wire from one to the other like I had shown in the photos. I will assume Spence, you can do this wire correction so I don't have to send you one?

For now I think I will only ship out corrected harnesses when someone asks for one since some of the harnesses are actually the correct ones I sent out and some can change the wire over to the proper one.

I fixed my front today, works fine now. If you need to mark me off a list of potentials later, just message me.

My rear isnt working correctly though; it turns off the inside bottom passenger side tailight; no tail light, no brake light, no amber flashing. I might need a rear harness replaced :/ I'd post the video but my plate is in the picture. If its needed ill post it later. I did message Bruce so Ill see what he says.

Thanks for all the hard work on this Mark, your contributions do not go unnoticed!

I’ve confirmed mine is incorrectly wired as per the above diagram. Before I go screwing with relocating it I just want to confirm that this is the fix for it not working correctly. Please advise asap.
I actually would prefer to have a correctly wired one sent to me.
Yes Mark, that is the fix as per the photo I posted.
I think I would refer to have you send the corrected harness to me. is that possible so I don't have to re-wire the one I received?

I’ll test mine tomorrow. The black box is new. Ferrite Bead to help with noise?

Since I am replacing my V1 front Pony (bottom half of LEDs died and Bruce sent a replacement) I can test 3 ways.

1. I will test just the V2 pony with my original “modified harness” since I know it works.
2. I will test the new harness with the old V1 pony.
3. I will test the new harness and the V2 pony.

Stay tuned.
No need to test. The issues were with the wiring harness as mentioned by Mark. And as long as you don’t partake in my type of buffoonery, moving the wire is easy.
