@markboris you work for bskt? ?
No, I do not. However, Bruce was having problems shipping ponies to the US (everywhere else he had no issues). Taxes, customs, etc were big issues so I told him to ship one large box of all ponies to me and I would ship them out (only to US customers). Last week shipped 80+ orders and this week already shipped almost 20. I will be stocking the front and rear ponies and shipping from here for awhile. However, after I shipped them all out, Bruce found out that some connectors/harnesses (most of them actually) were wired incorrectly. So now I am working on getting updated harnesses out to everyone that has incorrect ones. Between June 1-15 I will be out of the country so all pony shipping will be paused.

Did you connect the control wire for the reverse light? If you did, disconnect it first and see if this resolves your issue. Maybe it s connected to the wrong wire.

My harness is from early in the year and it is fine and it looks like the recent ones are working for others.
I did not use the reverse wire.

I tried the harness on the drivers side tailgate harness and it did the same in that side, inside bottom taillight doesn’t work. The wire termination inside the harness that the two reds share is set really far back in the harness vs the other wires and I think that may be the issue.
I appreciate the input and any other ideas though!

A new rear set is being sent out to you today.

While I wait to test the new Low Harness from the front pony, I wanted to share some feedback on the rear pony. The adhesive used to attach the emblem to the base doesn’t seem strong enough—one end has already come loose. I’m not sure if this is due to the hot weather or general durability, but I’m unsure how well it will hold over time. That said, the pony functions perfectly and the overall build quality is better when compared to the factory version.

I had this exact same issue with the EV-Vida rear pony. The inlay pony felt lose right out of the box, just like yours. After placement, I used blue tape to hold it down and let it cure for 24 hrs. As I was removing the tape, the entire inlay came off. I ended up gluing it back on, but it got a little messy unfortunately.

My advise to anybody w/the same situation, re-adhere the pony BEFORE installing it so you can have more control than if doing it after you've installed it.

Ash, I am going to send you a new rear pony. Maybe yours was warped or something. It should lay flat on the liftgate. I have not had issues with the ones I have installed.
My V1 front had this issue. BSKT uses an 2 sided tape to hold it in place. I put a small drop of a thick adhesive and it has been fine (at least for 2 months) I mentioned this to Bruce, but he felt V2 would have this fixed.

I now have a V2 installed and I don’t see an issue

Good advice to keep in mind. My pony looked fine out of the box, so I didn’t think to check the glue between the inlay and the base. It became loose after a couple of days.

I am sending you an updated Low harness version that I believe will work. Going off of what I did on the High harnesses, did the same on the Low. You get to try it out. ?
Hi Mark,

I was so focused on the front pony? that I didn’t notice anything else. Today, when leaving work , I noticed the orange side marker light on the passenger side wasn’t working. When I got home, I reconnected the original harness and the light came back on. I’m not sure if the new harness will resolve the side marker issue as well. Any thoughts?

Has anyone else installed the front pony on a Select trim with the low configuration lights?

I can only assume there is wiring mismatch on the Y cable. I will look into that when I have time but this really isn't what I signed up for. ? I just wanted to help out with the shipping and ended up fixing the faulty connectors to make the ponies light up. Good news is, the connector I sent you WILL light up your pony. I just had a member who has a Select and told him what wire to change on the connector. He did and it works!!

Ash (Mr.GVAK) figured out the side marker issue but takes to pins to be moved, one in each connector. That said, Bruce is going to have all new connectors made with both the proper pony turn on and side marker wiring. ?

So I installed the pony with the wiring configuration fix Mark illustrated earlier in the thread. Works perfectly. And it's bright as hell! ⚡?

One note I'll add from my install. As somebody mentioned earlier, the wires are really short. If you run it across from the pony to the headlight there's just enough wire. Because of this, I couldn't tuck the transformer/reducer box thingy away somewhere or ziptie anything. But I didn't want it floating around banging inside the compartment. I was going to double-sided tape it to some plastic molding, but then thought, what if I have to remove it for some reason? The recess it's in is really tight space-wise. So instead, I velcroed it to the that plastic piece. That way I can just grab it and pull it out if I need to. Unfortunately, I was in a rush, so forgot to take a pic. But when you get in there, you'll know what I'm talking about.
