Can a custom fob be made with a frunk button?

Mine does (see the pic you quoted). You don’t need a European fob. You can just buy a shell on Amazon and swap the trunk button onto the Lightning fob’s tailgate spot.

I just looked again - your fob has a trunk button, not a hatch button like the European fobs. Any way to get a hatch button?

Yes, I've actually already swapped that button to a hatch. No need to get anything from Europe.

Curious where you got the drunk button, the ones in the link you provided have a remote start button instead.

Edit: Nevermind, I see what you did, bought a Lightning one and bought the shell to swap out the rear hatch button... Duh!
