Can a custom fob be made with a frunk button?

Apologies if this has been discussed before (cursory search didn't produce anything), but could a custom fob be made bearing a frunk button, or could the existing one be modded, since it's got an empty spot??

Before you ask ... the EU MME fobs are not compatible with NA MMEs.

What would that accomplish? It's not the shell that makes the frunk button work. It's much easier to just get a Lightning fob. Mine works great.

The lightning fob doesn’t look like a Mustang fob. My question is, can you but lightning guts in a European Mustang fob?

Mine does (see the pic you quoted). You don’t need a European fob. You can just buy a shell on Amazon and swap the trunk button onto the Lightning fob’s tailgate spot.

Yeah, I just bought a lightening fob, works great. Also, you can punch in the door code and then press the 7-8 button and it will open.
