I began purchasing accessories as soon as my order went into production:
- Grizzl-E Charger
- All Weather Floor Mats
- Performance Foot Pedal Pads
- Matte Finish Screen Protector
- 15" Rear Wiper Blade

Other than the charger, not super expensive, however it helps pass the time and is a nice reminder that a great vehicle will be home soon!
Thanks for those ideas I will look into it. So far I’ve gotten a inside Mustang garbage from Amazon and car cleaning items

I got a call yesterdy from my dealer where I had an originally placed my order and despite having priority 10 on it, he mentioned the car would be rolled over to 2023 as it didn't made the cut to 2022 production.
Ford made an offer of a bit over than 2K to offset the price increase for the new model year however the biggest bummer of the 2023 models is the lack of the Comfort part of the Comfort and Technology package, for the Select Model. So no heated seats, no heated steering wheel...

Has anyone been in the same situation? Were you offered to upgrade to Premium trims and still got a private offer?
Wait, you're dealer offered you a Private offer? All they told me was that the price went up by 5K.. :/

I ordered the select RWD with the confort/tech pack.

I haven't been told I was delayed so am still thinking I'll be built Oct17th. I installed my charger though so it's just kind of there for now. ?

On a separate note, any winter tire recommendations? I'm over in Hamilton so winters can be bad but generally are not. The roads here are hot garbage though and not maintained at all (there are still potholes from last winter) so I need tires that can withstand some pretty big bumps.

I did, but I placed my order before May 31st with the same trim and options as yours. It seems this was the cut date to get those private offers from Ford.

As an update about that, I went to my dealership and just got my deposit back as he mentioned I could do it and I wouldn't be able to transfer my car to my friend which was also waiting for his order and got pushed to 2023.

My friend also got the private offer which will be used towards the new 2023 Premium Trim order he just placed.

Hopefully they will prioritize his order and he will be able to get it in the first quarter of 2023.

Maybe wait to get the Floor Mats after you get your car and the FordPass points. I just purchased mine this Saturday and the 40k points we get when buying the car are worth 200 cad of discounts.

Also, check the Accessories Page at Ford.ca! When I checked it, the floormats costed around 260 CAD. At the dealership, the first quote they gave me was 330... I complained and upon checking the website, they confirmed that the price was indeed incorrect and gave me the correct pricing.

Good advice. Yes I remember the mats being 350 but I said I’ll buy them later (thank god i didn’t get them) they are much cheaper on ford.ca. Thanks for advice I’ll see if dealer will throw them in if not I’ll use points

Do you mind sharing the $ figure of you and your friend's private offer?

My friend ordered his 2022 select with comfort/tech on may 16th in Surrey B.C.

He was contacted by his dealership last week that for the 2023 conversion and the private offer. The offer was $2750 and he was told the offer was the same $2750 across all trims when he asked about upgrading to premium.

From what I read on the canadian mach-e facebook group, multiple people was offered the same $2750 for their select with comfort/tech order.

I think the private offer is absurd since its basically 50% of what price increase. What is worse is that canadian select orders can't even entertain the idea of stepping up to premium like most of our american friends on this forum ended up doing.

What surprised me more is the fact that the awareness and discussion on this seemed very limited. It appears that not everyone in this situation know that they are getting screwed over from what they originally signed up with!

I believe it was the same figure my friend and I were offered in this private offer. This offer was made by Ford. Dealerships have nothing to do with it.

Also, keep in mind that as far as I know, the offers are based on the actual order originally placed and that was converted into a 2023 order. So if your original order was placed for a Select RWD, you will be getting a lower figured instead of some one that ordered a Premium trim and got rolled over to 2023. =/

Also, it seems that in the USA, the private offers had higher figures as well.

My best advice is call USA Ford customer service and say “I would like status update on my vehicle. I’m from Canada but the Canada line will not work and I’ve tried few times.” This has worked for me so far and they gave more detailed response than the Canadian support. There is automated number you can call 1 (888) 999-8111 but it hasn’t worked for a week now I don’t think it’s functional any more. Otherwise keep checking the Ford app for standard info such as ETA.

That's wild. I placed my Order before the cut off as well no private offer.

They haven't really been responsive either so I cancelled today as well. I couldn't transfer my reservation to another dealer and Ford Canada wasn't very helpful.

Might work with another dealer to get a premium or just look at another option all together ?

To be honest, I would look into other options, maybe even Tesla or Polestar. Having to rejoin the queue back again and start from scratch will be quite a pain…

Maybe try to do as I did and call all dealerships in your province and see if any of them might have stock or leave your name in the queue for a cancellation.

I know there are are some cars still available, but they will probably be Premiums all loaded up or GT perfomance editions. At this price point, maybe Tesla is “cheaper”.

European cars seem to have a shorter waiting time at this moment too, with 4 to 6 months.

I have a Model Y on order which was expected in January 2023 but was moved up to next month - but that's 50k more..

I thought about Polestar,I said I'll check them out as well.

That's a good idea though, calling around to other dealerships and putting my name down.

I really liked the quality in the Mach e over the Tesla so I was hoping that came through. Sucks man.

Gas here in BC is $2.34. I'm over it.

If anyone is in the Ottawa area, this dealer has a select with comfort package coming in you could pick up. I passed as my premium will be here in two weeks.

Ice Blue Metallic ,with Black Onyx .
- Comfort Technology pkg
- Interior Protection Pkg
- Select AWD 70KWH Battery

Tell them you heard from me and they give me $150. thought that was nice of them.
