Congrats to all the new owners on your new Mach-E - my journey was a bit different from an ordering process, my wife and I have been debating about changing one of our cars ( we drive hybrids) and we always said our next car will be an electric, we have been doing lots of YouTube videos to learn about the options and trims, etc., in September we visited Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Chevrolet and VW - a ford dealership in Eglinton Ave had a model in the showroom available but 15K overpriced for a premium extended battery, fall in love with the car in person, but no way I’ll pay overpriced. Then we went to Hyundai and Kia and the waiting time is insane plus 2 years, but same thing one of the Hyundai dealers in Richmond Hill had an ionic 5 in the showroom with 20K overpriced. Decided to finally put an offer in the Blazer EV and ID4 at least to get in the line, this was mid September. On Saturday October 15 I went to the Chevy dealership to get my bill of sale or receipt, I’m number 7 for that blazer EV in that dealership. Then, I decided to stop in a different ford dealership to ask again, to my surprise, the sales guy says that they had a new 2022 Mache premium AWD standard battery dark grey color with gray interior available that got cancelled the day before due to financing issues with 24 kms, at MSRP price and it was eligible for the 5K federal government. I jump on it, I made a deposit for the car, I went to pick up my wife, we test drove the car, they evaluated my trade in at a fair price, completed the bill of sale, and I am picking up the car on October 29 as I was leaving to go on vacation October 17 with the family, I will pickup the car upon my return... So excited and so lucky to be able to buy the car, the stars was just aligned for us - I will post pictures when I pickup the Car

I was reviewing my bill of sale and says that my Mach-E is a 2022 First Edition AWD, I remembered the sales guy mentioned something about it, but I got distracted with the car just being available at the time, is there any major difference between the first edition and Premium model? I Didn't seem to find any difference, or may be it was a mistake in the dealer completing the bill of sale?

First Editions have some differences in the finish and details of the car. It's a bit strange they still had a First Edition as I think all of those were sold in 2021.

First congrats! I’m truly stunned at the Hyundai story. Wow.

If you have a MY22 it would not be a “First Edition” (you would also have a “First Edition” sill plate) - as mentioned above they were only available in 2021. I’m guessing they just made a mistake in the bill of sale.

You can also verify the year in the VIN - if the 10th character is “N” it’s a 2022.

Thanks for the response, I went back to the dealership a couple of days ago and it was a mistake in the bill of sale,and I just checked the VIN in my ford app pass and the 10th character is the letter N

Y'all got so quiet. ?

The CP train my MME is on arrived at the Toronto Yard this morning. Target deliver to the dealer is the 9th so I'm trying to to get my hopes up that it'll show up earlier.
