Cancelled Order, still showing up ?

Hello -- I had a MME on order back in April\May and then ended up canceling my order around the end of May. The Ford dealer did refund my $500 deposit.

However when I login to my Ford account the order still shows up, is it supposed to look like this or am I going to get an e-mail someday saying my MME is in production?

The dealer likely didn't actually cancel it with Ford, and plans to sell it as a stock unit once it is delivered. Since they have refunded your deposit, you're not on the hook for it.

We cancelled my Wife’s order on July 1st one day after she got her new car on June 30. The deposit refund came in today. Still no updates from Ford on the car she had on order. Should have been built during the week of June 27.

Same scenario happened with me - I bought one that had been canceled at a dealer, and then canceled my order. Got the deposit back. Once it's in production, it keeps going until it gets delivered to the dealer, and Ford still shows you as the one who ordered it.

It was kind of cool, actually. I followed the progress of my original car and actually saw when it showed up at the dealer. They promptly marked it up $7500, though.

That will probably happen with our order as well, but I will let the forum know when it comes in. It’s a carbonized copy of the MME that we bought.

I guess it'll be interesting to see when I would have actually gotten the car, I ordered 4/30 and still it just shows accepted by dealer

I ordered my car March 11th, then cancelled when I found a similiar configuration on a lot and bought it. Dealership refunded my deposit, but kept the order active. It arrived at their dealership yesterday July 10th, and they're already trying to sell it for a 9k markup.
