I have FordPass 3.33.0 and can't get pass the login screen. Username and Password are correct. Phone is a Samsung S9+ running Android version 10.

It gets stuck trying to authenticate. It happened at the dealer on Sat, and it's happening at home. I can log into Ford.com with the credentials.

Any ideas on how to resolve? I tried un-installing and re-installing the FordPass app.

Had that exact problem. Uninstall and reinstall doesn't work.

Empty cache and storage on it.
Delete it.
REBOOT PHONE.
Reinstall it.

Thanks, but that didn't work either. I also added permissions after the re-install, in case that was an issue. Any other ideas? Do I really need FordPass if it doesn't work? I'm not going to replace a perfectly good phone over this.

All I get is the Ford script logo with the line circling around it endlessly.

There was a known issue with 3.33.0 on Android. They resolved that issue with an update to the app that didn't change the version number. So make sure there's no update available. If that doesn't work I would roll back to 3.32.0. The issues you're describing are the exact issues others had with the 3.33.0 version.

Do you need FP ... not if you don't have PaaK. Without it you won't get alarm notifications, charging notification etc. But need, no.

Thanks. I searched and it appears I can't do that on a Samsung S9+.

You can't roll back from any Android phone in the play store. You have to manually do it. You can get 3.32.0 here.

Once it's downloaded you would have to give chrome permission to install files and then run the install. You would also need to make sure that the old FP app is removed before you attempt to install as a downgrade will not automatically overwrite a higher version.

If you decide to go this route you'll also want to go into the play store and disable auto-updates for the FP app so that you don't get updated to 3.33.0.

If this is all too intimidating just hang in there until 3.34 is released (no idea when) and then try again.

Thanks! I was mistakenly thinking I was going to have to revert back to a previous version of the phone's firmware. It's not too intimidating, just too annoying right now. I might get around to it but for now there's plenty for me to do learning the new interface in the MME.

Just tried this with 3.34.0 and still doesn't work. You'd think FoMoCo would test this stuff on fairly recent Samsung phones.
