Can't set up phone as a key

I just got my Mach-e yesterday. So far I am loving it. I am having an issue where I don't see the option to setup my phone as a key on the Ford pass app. I have looked on YouTube so I know what to look for but it is not there. When I look on the car it says to set it up on the app. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is it a bug in the app and I just have to wait until a update?

I think you select the "Vehicle" icon on the FordPass app and then scroll down to where it says to set up Phone as a Key. Do you see that choice?

I just my MME yesterday and I also don't even see the option to set up PaaK. Initially it let me start car remotely and lock/unlock doors, but that also disappeared. Otherwise, the car is great and this isn't any kind of deal breaker, but if anyone finds how to remedy this, I'd be glad to know.

Thanks for the reply. I am not seeing it anywhere on the app. When I select the "Vehicle" icon I get things like "My Journeys", "Tire Pressure" and other things.

Mine appears right under the start button. Although I have had issues with Bluetooth and setting it up.

From the videos I see and pictures I have seen it should be there. On mine it is not. I don't know why it is not showing up.

Ford support did the typical reload app etc. they escalated to level 3 support, I’ll keep you posted

I finally got my phone key to work. I downloaded iOS 15, deleted the Fordpass App, download the app again,, and also turn on location service to always for the app. Then the phone key setup went fine.

I updated phone to iOS 15, deleted and reloaded the Fordpass app and set app location service to always, phone key works now.

Has anyone had this issue with an Android and found a solution? I bought my GT in Sept and has not updated or ever shown me option to set up. I have brought to dealer and they did vehicle reset. Also did number of resets with my phone and car software. Also tried on another android and another iphone. Please helpppp

Is bluetooth enabled on your phone?
Are you in the car with the key fob?
Is the car turned on?

I've done two android phones.

BT enabled, I'm in car with fob, car is on. Both androids and an iphone do not work. All with updated software.

Did you ever get this resolved?

I just got mine and same thing, NO Setup Phone as a Key link on the FordPass

Everything else worked with remote setup, and I can Lock/Unlock vehicle with FordPass

I have tried with both my Phone (Android) and my Son's once I approved his FordPass and activated remote on his phone (iPhone) so not sure what could be happening

I deleted app and installed and reset the users on Ford Sync on Car but still nothing
