Hey everyone, wondering if someone seen this issue or has a fix.

I don't use the radio, I only use Bluetooth. Every time I start the car up, it is playing music from my phone then after a few seconds reverts to radio, then I have to change it back. It happens every single time I turn the car on.

Has anyone else dealt with this?

Not having this exact issue but every time I start the car up it is doing something different than what I set it to do as well. My issue is ambient lighting. I picked pink and it starts in blue every time.

This was happening to me. Then, I tried to get wireless CarPlay going, but that didn't work, so now it tries CarPlay every time I start the car and "fails". After failing, the radio comes on. I have to manually press the screen to get Bluetooth audio connected and that only works about 75% of the time.

With anything related to Bluetooth, I'd suggest posting your phone model and OS version along with any troubleshooting requests. Different phone devices seem to each have a different set of quirks when it comes to bluetooth.

I just want to go back to bluetooth audio as the default to start playing when I start the car. It worked flawlessly for about the first 1-2 months I had the car, and now I can't get back to that anymore.

I’ve had this happen, and for me it usually involves the fob/paak connected profile shitting the bed.

The guest profile issue is pretty easy to spot, as the car defaults to 12h time (in case you miss the icon)

Something similar happens to me. Not every time, but about one in six times. I have OPD and rear brake assist on, and our 20' driveway is steep, so once I back out of the garage and get onto the slope, I sometimes shift to neutral and just roll down via gravity (I've recently started turned off OPD while backing out, but with the lag of booting the screen sometimes shifting into N is quicker). Shortly after shifting into N, the audio changes from the USB stick to the radio.

When I start my car, the center screen lags for maybe 5 seconds. I assume its just takes some time to load. Once I tried pushing a button on the screen before it "finished loading" and then the screen went black. Turned the car off and back on again and the screen was fine. Lesson learned, don't touch it until its done loading. haha

I listen to audio books using audible on my BT phone. I now turn off the audio system before I turn off the car. Then when I start up next time, I wait until my phone shows connected and turn the audio on again. If I turn off the car first, when I restart, the system reverts to radio instead and I have to touch the BT icon on the screen to return to the book - after it shows my phone name connected.

Good afternoon. Would you please send us a private message with your VIN and mileage so we can look into the Bluetooth issue for you? I'd love to help you sort this out so you can get back to jamming in your Mach E ASAP!

Why does mileage matter in this case? Just to verify ownership?

I'm thinking maybe to verify warranty status and maybe for some CRM log entries in case they're needed at a later time (e.g. during a Magnusson-Moss warranty complaint, lemon law, etc).
