Thank you for replying. Iam
Taking mine in on the 21st of this month so I am just reading up on possible issues. Mine is set to 50amp and and I’m getting about 9.9kw but then I check the ford app because It’s supposed to stop charging at 85% and it will just say stopped charging without notice. So if I didn’t check It it would be wt whatever it stopped at. I can click resume schedule as I did last night and then it charged without issue. I’m also having an issue with the departure time not starting. I got an alert that said my car did not charge as schedule this morning but I don’t have a morning schedule as I have TOU plan so I charge in the wee morning hours. Not sure if that’s also because the departure time or what. So I appreciate the feedback so I can better talk with tech. My current software just says priority update 23-PU0314-DCM-LAT and just a refinements according to the notes.
I seem to be having the same problem -randomly stops charging before the 90% that I have programmed. I have a JuiceBox 40 Plug-in. This seems to be a new occurrence recently.

Yesterday, we plugged in around 6:40PM at 54% remaining with it set to charge to 90%. This morning, at 8:20AM I unplugged it assuming it completed as no lights were on the MME charge port and then I got a notification of an accidental unplugging. Huh?

With almost 14 hours plugged in, we should have hit 90% but it stopped at 83%. I'll have to check again but I swear it also stopped at 83% last time.

The only thing that's changed recently (short of the PowerUp OTA upgrades on the MME) is that Enel X-Way (JB manufacturer) rolled their app and did a complete overhaul. I program each session in the app with the current charge level when I plug in and set it to 90%.

I am now wondering if what the charger thinks is the current charge level (%) is different than the car. I don't think they report the charge level to each other in any way so not sure if the JB charge % settings has any bearing on the session.

The JB thinks it ended when I unplugged 13h 44m so I am now suspecting it's the car that stopped taking the charge yet it thinks it was accidentally unplugged?

My Ford Pass Charge logs still don't show this session with another odd thing. I unplugged 40 min ago -how long does that app take to record the charge session? Very Strange...

I’ve had this problem before I got my ChargePoint home flex when I was using the ford charger so I don’t suspect it’s my ChargePoint app but it’s so frustrating. Mine went from charging to 100 even though I set it to 85 to now it just shuts off and won’t charge unless I click resume schedule. I don’t add any setting in my FP app, only on the car. Like others have said I’m convinced it’s software issue and possibly my charge port but I’ll find out next week.

What does the car say? It is best to set schedules up sitting in the car on the large screen and not sending it to the car through the app (keep it simple at this stage). Set it in the car, if that does not work delete it and set it up in the car again. You can see on the app if it is right a while after you set it directly to the car. The only thing I use for charging in the app is the charge to 100% button when leaving on a trip. Everything else through sync. Make sure you don't confuse the pony yet ;)

I am also having the same issue. I have a ChargePoint Home Flex, and I have been working with ChargePoint's customer support team for a while trying to resolve the issue. They even sent out a replacement unit, since it was still under warranty. The charging issue is better now that I have reconfigured the Home Flex to a 40A breaker (32A charging). However, my Mach-E has stopped charging after about 1 hour and 14 minutes. Way longer than before. It would stop within 30 minutes at higher amperages. I need to call my dealership and schedule the repair. Luckily I still have some of my standard warranty left. So they shouldn't try to make me pay for the repair.

I have filed a complaint with the NHTSA. I suggest that any of you that have experienced this issue do the same. There is a link to their complaint form on their homepage: https://www.nhtsa.gov/.

The charging system is supposed to be covered under the 8/100,000 EV warranty.

NHSTA only deals with safety issues, not stuff like this.

These gremlins hit me last night. Job 1, running the latest publicly available software on the vehicle + phone. No red rings, errors reported in the app or on the vehicle.

32A, GRIZZL-E, no issues being reported other than an "accidental unplug" error in the app despite me following proper procedure.

Validated that settings were correct in the car + app.

I was able to "kick it" by changing the charging to "charge when plugged in" and it started to charge. I let it go a bit and have changed back to my scheduled time to see if it works tonight.

When I unplugged again, I received the "accidental unplug" error in the app.

I am going to bounce the GRIZZL-E before tonight's charging session.

I also have a GRIZZL-E and tonight my charger keeps shutting off after one minute of charging. I don’t have a schedule set up and never had a problem. Was it the Ford app or charger that you changed to “charge when plugged in” to fix yours? It is strange that this just started happening for so many with different chargers.

If you have a Smart Grizzl-E, the problem could be with the EVSE that requires a reset. See below:

In the Ford app.

I do not have the "smart" version of the charger.

There does seem to be a bit of noise regarding L2 charging, but correlation does not mean causation - but ?‍♂. Much of this thread had to do with Chargepoint chargers misbehaving due to a bug specific to those products, but others *seem* coincidental.
