CarPlay battery level not available

So for over a week I now get this message in CarPlay that the battery level is not available. Some minutes later it says it is available again. I’m getting it at least one time each time I drive the car.

Each time is a distraction and my music stops, etc. I had it happen occasionally before but now it is frequent.

I read a number of Lightning owners had this problem about a month ago and it coincided with the FordPass app update and went away with another apps update. I then checked and sure enough the problem started with the app update about a week ago.

Anyone know else getting this message with 5.15.0?

Did you try quitting FordPass and rebooting your phone?

I rebooted my phone yesterday. I didn’t quit the app first but I would expect rebooting would behave in the same way as quitting the app and rebooting.

what battery level are you talking about? the only battery level I see in CarPlay is the phones.

I get a message in the Mach-e CarPlay "Battery level not available".
if you look at the CarPlay screen you should see the phone status where it shows your connection to your service provider for your cell service, then next to that is the battery status where in my MME it shows when I am charging on the wireless charger or not and shows the battery level.is that what you are talking about? as far as I know CarPlay doesn't show the vehicles battery (drive battery or 12v)

I get a message in the Mach-e CarPlay "Battery level not available".
I've had the message occasionally over the past month or so while using CarPlay and navigating with Apple Maps. It generally goes away after a few minutes (under 10). For me, it usually occurs in areas with poor to no cell coverage though — which makes zero sense to me. ?‍♂
