If it was the Mach-E GPS antenna, you shouldn't be able to nav with Sync

You definitely have a point! Since the problem has been going on for so long, Ford must be aware of it. It’s probably something they can’t easily fix, and doesn’t that suggest a mechanical failure, like melted insulation or something? It dont mean thay update and software is off th table, but not so likely anymore?

To Ford: We have to fix this Carplay GPS issue!
From Ford: I guess will have to do a hostile takeover of Apple, ugh...

Same although I am more north than you in CA. Phone always in my right front pocket. 5 years, 3 Mach-E's and never an issue with GPS/Apple Maps. Only issue I ever have is every once in a while Sync will not wirelessly connect. I restart Sync and all is ok.
