Ha. My car just updated to 3.5.3 last week. It updated a week before that as well after not updating at all for months. Maybe I’ll get this new update next year.

So can anyone tell me what the latest OTA version is? My ‘22 MME Select just updated to 4.2.3.

Also, I go into Ford Pass where I’m supposed to read details of the update but it’s an overview with little substance. Especially the details about the changes to Apple Car Play.

Are we just supposed to play around with the settings? Is information about OTA changes always this sketchy - this is the second one I’ve gotten since purchase.
I’m on 4.2.4

Since the last update Ive noticed my screen freezing more often. I've also noticed some of my phone calls start very staticky and I have to hang up and call again. It's getting very annoying. Anyone else experiencing this? I thought it could be my phone but I recently got a new phone and the static is still happening.

You can’t. It’s gone. If it was turned off when the setting was removed, it will stay off until Ford decides to force it back on in a future update.

What light is this exactly? I think i had mine set to on but havent noticed any changes. Is is a light that comes on when you open the charge door?

It’s the ring of blue lights next to the charge port that show the charge level.

My ‘21 was stuck in update purgatory for a super long time on 2.7.x. The past two months I’ve gotten a ton and am up to 4.2.1 as of May 8th. Seems they unstuck whatever the problem was and are playing catch up now. There’s hope!

With the latest update, the center console display has changed. Some things I like, for example having a button for CarPlay, but one thing I don't. In the previous version the tabs at the bottom came in two forms: a compact one, with just the name of the function, and a bigger one, with more information, for example the tire pressure tab would show the pressure on each tire. You could chose between the two formats. In the new version it appears that only the compact one is available, I scrolled through all the settings and didn't find a way to change it. What can I tell you, I'm a numbers/data geek and the more information I have in front of me, the happier I am.
Did anyone find a hidden way to restore the extended tabs ?
Welcome to the new UI.

I ended up getting a series of version 4 upgrades recently. I called Ford's OTA group, early April, and they said they had paused updates and would resume toward end of April or early May.

Hi Sandy. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.

Seriously, you're surprised people (especially those with '21s) are getting delayed updates?

I just got my first OTA update (3.5.2) since last October.

We've been discussing this for years.
I just got 3.5.2 last week too! Thought it might have been a Canada thing.
