With the latest update, the center console display has changed. Some things I like, for example having a button for CarPlay, but one thing I don't. In the previous version the tabs at the bottom came in two forms: a compact one, with just the name of the function, and a bigger one, with more information, for example the tire pressure tab would show the pressure on each tire. You could chose between the two formats. In the new version it appears that only the compact one is available, I scrolled through all the settings and didn't find a way to change it. What can I tell you, I'm a numbers/data geek and the more information I have in front of me, the happier I am.
Did anyone find a hidden way to restore the extended tabs ?

You just got that update?
We have been debating the change for at least 6 months now.
Just got it in the last week, don't recall the exact date.
I didn't realize that it was being debated because I wasn't looking for it.

So can anyone tell me what the latest OTA version is? My ā€˜22 MME Select just updated to 4.2.3.

Also, I go into Ford Pass where I’m supposed to read details of the update but it’s an overview with little substance. Especially the details about the changes to Apple Car Play.

Are we just supposed to play around with the settings? Is information about OTA changes always this sketchy - this is the second one I’ve gotten since purchase.

You can’t. It’s gone. If it was turned off when the setting was removed, it will stay off until Ford decides to force it back on in a future update.

The latest available for most people is 4.2.5.

My 2021 just updated to 3.5.4.2
My condolences. Maybe my OTA’s are more up to date because I just bought the car in February (used and overpaid). Didn’t know I should have looked around more, especially considering we aren’t getting an EV tax credit - a used car purchase in ā€˜23 requires a placed in service date in ā€˜21 and a purchase price under $25k! Who knew - we didn’t.
