For those times when you’ve got a short turnaround window, you’ll want the full 48A.

Is it only a 1.4kWh difference between the 50amp breaker (9.6) and the 60 amp breaker (11.0)? That is like 4.4 miles of additional range per hour.

Some interesting philosophies regarding charging and battery capacities. I can understand for folks that travel great distances to want larger battery capacities for longer range capabilities. That itself would require faster charging speeds. Then there's the other camp with using what's needed only in a shared limited resource that we live in. I think there will be an equilibrium at some point. Evolution battery technology will play a big part.

For OP, it should come down to your driving use-cases now and the foreseeable future. Power failure would totally suck regardless of how many amps you got. Short turn around time is seldom an issue if one has other vehicle(s) to use.

yep 32 amps. your set up is fine. technically wire length can play a part. but you are fine with as you have significant additional capacity.
