I was wondering if there is a way to limit the car to a specific current draw?
Scenario,

I have the old charger circuit on the house. It is however a 20a 220 circuit. The Volt let me set the amount of current it would draw between 10 and 16 amps. I was thinking of using that circuit with the Mach-E with the factory charger.

I know I can buy a third party ESEV that will let me set a max current draw just wondering if there are such things with the native hardware.

No. You will need to buy an EVSE that limits the power.

It would be nice if Ford exposed a max current setting in the car. It could be alongside the charging profiles where you choose a max charge % per location.

And then similarly, during an active charging session, they could show the power being *requested* by the car, and what is being *provided* by the charger. Would be most helpful during DCFC sessions where you may not know why an EA charger is going slow for you.
