Is it your belief that showing a thief that it's wrong to steal will convince him it's wrong to steal?
Gloating about a win over a cheating opponent is is always fun.

In 1990 I was in the market for a conversion van. I went to our local Ford dealer and sat down with the sales manager (wife of the dealership owner) and told her what I wanted. I was still fairly young and I don’t think she thought I could afford it. She told me she’d have to contact the conversion company and get back to me. Never heard from her again. Went to a different dealer and ordered exactly what I wanted. It arrived about 6 weeks later. The day I took delivery, I went back to the first dealer and asked her if she ever got me a price for the van I wanted. She says “No, they should be getting back to me any day now.” I told her not to bother and asked her if she wanted to come outside and see my new van. Less than a year later, that dealership was sold to a new owner.

My pin fell out while I was driving (no recovery possible). I had purchased 2 of the BMW ones from the recommended site. The BMW one fits tighter and better than the ford one. Be sure to order more than 1 as the shipping is high.

We used to live in an area with one of each dealership, no choice. Wanted a specific vehicle, dealership wouldn't deal. Instead of flying to Atlanta for a 2 week training course, I drove our older vehicle, and bought the new car in Atlanta (got paid mileage and OT too)... Walked into the dealership and dangled my new keys and laughed at them. Revenge is served best warm.
