Is there any danger of electrical shock while plugging in the charger when it is wet and your hands are wet?

There is no current flowing until the EVSE and the car communicate with each other

Nah! I mean, what could possibly go wrong? Right?

I wouldn‘t worry about the Lightning either - the hockey team or the atmospheric phenomenon. Like, how often do people get hit by either one of those. Pretty rare. (Caution - this is all tongue-in-cheek!)

I have charged in the rain. I have great respect for the power of lightning and it’s ability to find pathways.
