I charge at home plugged into a 240V plug. In recent weeks, the charge says its 90% ( where I set it) but the GOS says 160ish miles but sometimes as low as 135 which is very low. The dealership said they charged it to 200+ at 100%. Now, it wont charge at all at home. I noticed the light on the Charging Cable box is yellow and broken. I think the Charging Cable Box has failed. I'm going to the dealership today to see what they say. Less than a year's use doesn't sound very good. Any comments?

This has happened a couple of times with me. I just turn off the circuit and turn it back on and this corrects the problem with the charger - it turns from yellow back to blue and works fine. Good luck!

GOM is irrelevant and has nothing to do with the charger, and everything to do with colder temps when they exist.

Unplug from the wall.

Disconnect the two parts of the cord, replug it in, and make sure you hear it click.

Try again.

Thanks. Unplugging and replugging worked.

I haven't had a chance to diagnose the issue yet, but I had a problem last night where we started charging our machE gt perf when we got home from work and ended up not getting any charge overnight. It's the 110, as we wait on 240 to get installed this week, but the 110 typically charges 30-40 miles worth overnight np. Is there a good reference/compilation of possible charging issues. Have had 0 issues for weeks thus far. Drive 20-40 miles a day, plug in and nearly fully charge by next day. Light was flashing blue this morning as if it were charging, but no miles gained overnight.

Once the car is plugged in, have you checked the Ford Pass App to see that the car is currently charging? Some things I could see causing the problem are preferred charging times set up that are not allowing a charge, the plug at the charger box or the wall socket loose, or no power coming from the wall socket (I assume you have a blue light showing on the charger).

My wife has been driving my car while her Etron is enroute, so I will pay better attention tonight. Got complacent as it's been such an easy car to maintain. I haven't setup any kind of charge schedule or similar as the 110 is so slow I want it to charge whenever plugged in lol. I will do some trouble shooting tonight and report back.

I am a new UK owner( 3 weeks). Having loads of issues with the Ford Pass app.
I am trying to sort DC pubic charging. Should a DC charger bring up a charging location in the App and car? When I have done a DC charge I don’t see location appear. So I cannot set a charge limit the next time I visit. It does register in the app charging log so it knows I’ve been there.

No, a DC charger should not bring up a charging location to set (although I will admit this never crossed my mind to look, and I have no recent DC charging activity to verify this). Those are for Level 2 chargers. Since DC chargers are nearly all (or all) for a fee, and speed varies, you want to manage the charge either using FordPass "live", or using the DC charging location's own app.

Hooked back up tonight and it showed a blue ring, wall piece is blue, and everything is charging. Not sure what the issue was, but will let ya know when I find out. Electrician is coming to hook up dual 50A plugs and we should be good to go at that point between the machE and Etron
