I wonder if there is an explanation as to what is happening when I try to charge at home. For whatever reason, my home charger keeps cutting out periodically, sometimes after 10 minutes of charging. The charger seems to work fine on my wife's i3. When charging with L2 and DC commercial units, they worked fine although the DC was slow on a 125 KW charger, my vehicle was only able to charge at a rate of 75. Any ideas?

What kind of charger is it? i3 charges at max of 32A while Mach-E charges at a max of 48A. More load with the Mach-E.

When the Mach-E is charging, does the charge port get hot? Pull it out and feel the end of the J1772 after it's been charging for 30+ minutes.

75kW charge rate is normal on a 200A DCFC station such as a ChargePoint Express 250.

Thanks. When I return home in a few weeks, I will try it out. My home charger is a 30 amp Flo station.

Some similar problems reportedly caused by a defective CCS connector in the car. If it overheats, the car will throttle or stop charging.
