Hello all,

Can Charging port on Mach E provide any data to EVSE? More specifically OpenEVSE. Such as SOC. Time left to charge etc....

Thank you,

It will show the pilot voltage, what that actually equates to, very few know. It’d be no more useful in trying to figure out if the car wants to derate than the thermals of the ESVE.. The ESVE will derate at its thermals very close to its stated operating temperature. I used that to see my Tesla charger was pissed and useless in 115+ in the sun for anything over 6kw.

No, J1772 doesn't support two-way communication. You'd have to set up something that pulls the % charge from the Ford cloud and possibly get your account locked. FordPass will tell you how much time is left when charging, so just check that.
